Message Title: THE GLORY IS UNDER THE CROSS

Scriptures: Hebrews 12:2, Luke 14:27, Matthew 16:24, Luke 19:11,
John 6:26, John 4:23, Luke 9:57–62, Luke 6:66

“It is the shame of the cross that produces glorious results.”

Glory: High honour, praise or fame and by a great achievement.

Many of us as Christians have a very limited understanding of carrying the cross. Most believers do not fully understand the impact of carrying the cross and following Jesus.

We often think that carrying our cross is comfortable or something we do only for a season. But Jesus carried His cross from the day He was born because the sacrifice of the cross was constantly before Him. Therefore, carrying our cross should not be for a short period or only when things are good. It is for the long run.

If we look at what carrying the cross meant in Roman times, it represented death in a humiliating way. When you choose to take up the cross, there are parts of you that must die. Do we really know what it means to take up our cross?

You might receive it as simply doing the works of Christianity—going to church, praying, or participating in church activities—yet still living for yourself. But carrying your cross, is to deny yourself every day. It is a choice you make every day.

THE CROSS IS ABOUT DYING
Are you coming to God for Him, or are you coming to God for what He can give you?

The cross is not about what your flesh desires. The high honour we seek will not come until we are dead to the flesh, and alive in the Spirit.

When your spirit becomes more alive, you become less controlled by the flesh. You begin to experience things such as the peace that surpasses all understanding.

God wants you for Himself and will not allow anything else to compete with Him for you. Let your loved ones have a place in your life but let God have everything.

Picking up your cross and following God does not necessarily mean that you will suffer every day. It means denying yourself and letting go of what comforts your flesh.

There will be days when your cross feels heavier than others. But always remember that your carrying of the cross comes after Jesus carried His. Therefore, you are not carrying it alone.

When you carry the cross, you must cease to exist. The life of a Christian is a life of carrying the weight of the cross.

No matter what you do in your walk with God, refuse to stop. When you stop, you open yourself for the enemy to devour.

There are some things you can never get a hold of no matter what prophecy was given, unless you carry your cross.

Nothing will qualify us for heaven except carrying our crosses. The cross is not for those who want to feel themselves, but those who want to feel Christ in them.

In everything Jesus did, He carried the cross. It was His entire being, and He never left it.

FROM DIAGNOSIS TO NORMAL RESULTS – GOD’S HEALING POWER RESTORED HER AND HER NEPHEW!

Ms Mavis has come to testify about the goodness of God.

On her mother's side of the family, there is a history of diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol these of which have caused death in her family. After being tested, she discovered that she also had diabetes, with her blood sugar level above 15.3, and she was placed on medication.

During a service, the man of God told her that she would be the first in her family to overcome it. However, after receiving this word, her condition worsened. She was not resting well, and her results continued to become higher.

Recently, she spoke to the woman of God about her condition, and she was instructed to tell the man of God. He prayed for her after one of the services and gave her anointing water from the altar. She drank the water and went to sleep. The following morning, she drank the rest before going to work. She then checked her blood sugar, and it had dropped to 7.6.

She continued with her life and was now eating the food she felt like eating. When she checked her sugar levels again this Sunday morning, they had dropped to 6.1, which is within the normal range. She gives glory to God for what He has done in her life.

Her second testimony concerns healing for her nephew, Archie, who was also suffering from diabetes. Previously, there was a funeral in her family. While she was there cooking, she saw that Archie's foot was extremely swollen.

The man of God was informed, and he came arrived and applied anointing water to the swollen foot. From that moment, Mr Archie began to recover, gradually but very speedily. His condition had appeared to be heading towards amputation, similar to what had happened to another family member, but he recovered quickly. He is now well and able to move.

Ms Mavis gives glory to God for His goodness, healing and mercy over her family.

WHAT WAS MISSING HAS BEEN FOUND! – SIX-MONTH DELAY BROKEN AS THREE BUSINESS PACKAGES MANIFEST!

Ms Trish has come to testify about a breakthrough in her business.

In March, she joined a group where people could buy stock from China. She started the business, and her order was expected to arrive within 45 to 80 days. However, she waited and waited but saw nothing and received nothing.

She was prayed for by the man of God, who told her that what was missing would be found. He further said that she would see it because it would physically manifest. After receiving that word and prayer, she can now testify that she has received three of her packages which had been delayed for six months.

She gives glory to God for the breakthrough and for the manifestation of what was missing.

THE PAIN IS GONE, THE BLOOD PRESSURE IS STABILISED – A DOUBLE TESTIMONY OF HEALING!

Her first testimony is about healing. She previously had a swollen ankle, and the swelling became so severe that it went up to her knees. This made it difficult for her to go to work because she uses public transport and has to walk. The man of God prayed for her, and she has now been healed. She has not experienced the pain ever since.

Her second testimony is concerning her blood pressure.

She went to the clinic and discovered that her blood pressure was very high. She was given tablets and later returned to her local clinic in June, where she was again found to have high blood pressure and was placed on medication. Her blood pressure was recorded at 159/103.

She spoke to the man of God, who instructed her to register for the prayer line. During the prayer, he told her that it was the spirit of death. Her father passed away at the age of 43, and she was experiencing this issue at the age of 43. She confirmed this connection.

The following month, after receiving prayers, she went to the clinic four times. Her blood pressure was still high and continued increasing. However, the man of God continuously told her that it was settled.

Last week, during a partners' meeting, she presented her medication and received prayers. After the prayers, she went to get tested again, and her blood pressure had stabilised at 133/79. She gives glory to God for her healing and for the testimony.

AT 22, HER YEAR OF SMILING BECAME A REALITY – FROM PROPHECY TO HER FIRST CAR!

Ms Itumeleng has come to testify about an answered prayer. During the 40 days of fasting at the beginning of the year, the man of God prophesied to her that this would be her year of smiling. She can testify that it has indeed been a year of smiling. She graduated and also received a permanent job. However, one challenge she had was that she was spending more than R400 a day travelling to work which prompted her desire for a car. She had also been seeing a certain Toyota frequently on the road.

Now, at the age of 22, she has bought her first car. She gives glory to God for the answered prayer and for making the prophetic word a reality in her life.
