Corporate Income Tax is the payment of tax on all income received by or accrued to the business within a financial year.

Companies must declare their income annually by submitting a Company Income Tax Return (ITR14). This is to declare accurate information about your company’s income such as; all income and expenses so that over or under tax assessment is avoided.

SARS requires a registered representative as the main contact person for your company at SARS.

This person (director or an accountant for example) will have permission to handle your company’s tax transactions on SARS e-Filing. This access lets you submit the relevant tax returns...

It is important to note that you will not be able to do any transactions on SARS without having a Registered Representative. It’s a pivotal role for maintaining good standing with SARS.
