From the GCMSA Team to the World: We Are With You

In the last 2 months, 9 bodies of young women have been discovered across Ekurhuleni. Nine daughters, nine futures, lost.

GCMSA stands with the families - with the mothers and fathers who are grieving an unimaginable loss. We stand with the families of Elizabeth "Tsontso" Moselakgomo, Itumeleng Kekana, Gracious Nkomo, Dineo Evelyn Motapane, and the five sisters who remain unidentified at Germiston Forensic Pathology Services.

We remember that these women were not just bodies. They could have been mothers, wives, sisters, teachers, nurses, doctors, engineers, leaders, businesswomen, pastors, worship leaders - they could have been anything.
A future, a calling, a purpose was stolen.

And that is only the serial killer.

GBV and femicide remain a pandemic in our nation.

South Africa is facing a national disaster:
- A woman is murdered every 3 hours in our country
- Between 9 and 15 women are killed daily due to GBV
- Thousands of r**e cases are reported annually, with many more going unreported

This is not just a women's issue. This is a crisis for mothers and fathers, for families, for the Church, and for our nation.

Psalm 147:3 "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

May the Lord heal our brokenhearted mothers and fathers. May He bind up the wounds of the families affected. May He bring justice, comfort, and restoration to our nation.

We at GCMSA are praying. We are standing with every family, every woman, and every child. You are not alone.

🕊️ The Revelation

When the prophet Jeremiah wrote these words, he was surrounded by utter destruction, grief, and ruin. Yet, in the middle of his deepest pain, he received a powerful revelation: God’s mercy is not a finite resource. It does not wear out from our mistakes, nor does it deplete when our days get difficult. [1, 2]

Every sunrise is a physical reminder from heaven that yesterday is gone, and God has reset His grace for you. His faithfulness is not dependent on your strength or your perfection, but entirely on His unchanging, loving character. No matter what you are facing today, you are starting with a fresh supply of divine mercy. [1]

🙏 Morning Prayer

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the beautiful gift of this new day. I open my heart to receive Your fresh, unbroken mercies this morning. Forgive me for the shortcomings of yesterday, and help me to walk forward unburdened by guilt or worry. [1, 2, 3]

When things around me feel unstable, anchor my soul in Your steadfast love. Give me the eyes to see the quiet wonders and blessings You have placed in my routine today. I choose to rejoice and trust in Your great faithfulness, knowing that You are already going ahead of me.

Revelation

This verse reminds us that our faith is not detached from our everyday actions and relationships. True righteousness includes being fair, honest, and respectful in society. By fulfilling our practical duties—whether paying taxes, offering respect, or honoring leadership—we reflect God’s order and integrity to the world around us.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your guidance on how to live uprightly in this world. Please give me the wisdom and integrity to fulfill all my obligations, both big and small. Help me to show genuine respect and honor to those in authority, and let my interactions with others always reflect Your love and fairness.

Amen.

Good morning and happy Wednesday from the GCMSA team❤️. Today, let's take a moment to remind ourselves that silence is not absence and God's love is never far as we approach the end of the week.

Psalm 139:4 states, "Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely." (New International Version)

The Revelation: Why God's Silence is Not His Absence. It is easy to mistake God's silence for indifference, but Psalm 139:4 reveals that He is closer to you than your own breath. This verse reminds us of three powerful truths when we feel unheard:

Perfect Intimacy: God does not just hear your prayers when you finally find the words to say them. He knows the weight of your heart, the unspoken anxieties, and the silent cries long before you even articulate them.

Prevenient Attention: Even if you feel like your prayers are bouncing off the ceiling, God is already ahead of you. He is already fully aware of the desire, the pain, and the request. His silence is never because He missed your call or fell asleep.

Purposeful Silence: Sometimes God is quiet not because He has turned away, but because He is working deeply within us or arranging circumstances behind the scenes. When He seems silent, it means you can rest. You don't have to shout to get His attention; He already knows it completely.

A Prayer for Trusting God in the Silence

Heavenly Father, thank You for the comforting truth that You know me inside and out. Forgive me for the moments I mistake Your silence for absence or Your delay for denial. When the seasons of life feel quiet and I am tempted to wonder if You are listening, remind my heart of Psalm 139:4. Thank You that before a single word can even form on my tongue, You already know it completely. You hear my unspoken thoughts, my quiet tears, and my heavy sighs. Give me the grace and peace to rest in Your timing, trusting that even when You are quiet, You are still working, still loving, and still holding me close. In Jesus' name, Amen🙏🙇

As we embark on a new month, let us take a moment to acknowledge the blessings of the previous one. May was a month of immense blessings for the GCM SA team, marked by the formation of new relationships and a strengthening of our faith. We extend our deepest gratitude to our financial support partners, whose contributions have yielded tangible results. May God richly bless and protect you, as well as your families, from any harm. This is a snapshot of our experiences in May at GCM SA.

Before the week gets busy, let’s pause. June is here with new mercy, new opportunities, and new testimonies. Whatever May took from you — your peace, strength, ideas — God is restoring it now.

“His mercies are new every morning” Lamentations 3:22-23. And this is a new month.

*Prayer focus for today:* Fresh strength + open doors + sound mind.
*Declaration:* June will not waste me. I will see God’s goodness.

Ficksburg, are you ready? June 24th to 27th, 2026, marks a date set by God for equipping His children in Ficksburg. Despite your good intentions and eagerness, you cannot impart what you do not know. Every good thing in life starts with a prayer and a serving heart ♥️

To the women who went all out—praying, planning, sacrificing sleep, and serving behind the scenes to see this conference succeed: today we pause and say THANK YOU, CHAMPIONS.

Your quiet faithfulness didn’t go unnoticed. You carried the burdens, lifted others in prayer, and served with joy even when no one was watching. That’s the kind of love that builds the house of God. You’ve shown what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and because of you, lives were touched and God was glorified.

As Scripture says:

“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come…”
Ecclesiastes 12:1

And also:
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12

You’ve honored God in your youth by choosing to serve, and that seed will bear fruit for years to come. May the Lord strengthen you, refresh you, and reward every unseen sacrifice you made.

Thank you for your heart, your hands, and your yes to God. You are deeply appreciated and deeply loved.

Thank you Lord for the love and Mercy you continue to show us❤️

From the 12th to the 15th, the Lord met with us in a powerful way, and it was because of your faithful service.

To our main speaker, Dr. Tariku Gemechu Fufa thank you for the Word and wisdom you brought us. You taught us not only with your voice, but with your life. The way you spoke with humility, clarity, and conviction reflected exactly what you share in _Holistic Ethical Leadership_: leadership that aligns character, competence, and calling before God. You modeled for us that true leadership begins with a surrendered heart, and flows into every area of life and service. We were challenged, encouraged, and reminded that our work is unto the Lord.

Thank you for the steady, Christlike leadership you carried throughout the conference. We saw in you the integrity, servant-heartedness, and ethical stewardship that Dr. Fufa writes about as essential for leaders who want to honor God and serve people well. You led with wisdom, made space for every voice, and carried the weight of this ministry with grace. Your example taught us as much as the sessions did.

This conference was more than an event. It was a time of renewal, where our vision was sharpened and our commitment to serve was deepened. We left with full hearts, knowing we had been poured into by leaders who live what they preach.

As it says in *3 John 1:2*:
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”

So we lifted that prayer over you both. May the Lord continue to bless you abundantly, strengthen you in body, mind, and spirit, and increase the fruit of your labor across Africa. May He guard your families, renew your strength daily, and give you joy as you shepherd His people.
