𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥: Public schools will 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟯 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, to conclude Term 3.

Schools will 𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝟬𝟲 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, to begin Term 4 of the 2026 academic year.

Dear NSC Class of 2026, please note:

✅ The November 2026 NSC examinations are still going ahead as scheduled.

📅 You are expected to start writing your NSC examinations on 13 October 2026.

📄 Personal timetables / admission letters are expected to be available between 7–9 October 2026.

⏳ For now, do not panic. Continue using the official National/General Examination Timetable that was previously shared.

WHO QUALIFIES TO REGISTER?

A) Adult learners who are 21 years and older

If you do not have a Matric certificate but you have passed or failed Grade 10 or Grade 11, you may qualify for the Senior Certificate (Adult Matric) examination.

This qualification can help you work towards obtaining your Matric certificate and may support your plans for employment or further education.

📝 Registration for the Senior Certificate examination may be done online or at an education district office / ABET Centre, subject to the Department of Basic Education’s requirements.
