🚛🦏 We’re incredibly proud to announce that The Rhisotope Project has been selected as one of the Official Charities of The Bigg Pull 2026!

Over the coming months, an extraordinary team will take on the challenge of pulling a truck all the way from Centurion to Cape Town, proving that when people come together for a greater purpose, incredible things can happen.

We’re honoured to be part of this journey and can’t wait to share more about the event, introduce you to the amazing people behind it, and show you how The Bigg Pull is making a real difference for charities across South Africa.

Baby rhinos may be small, but they’re impressive from day one!

✨ Fun rhino calf facts:

🍼 A white rhino calf weighs around 40-65 kg at birth.
🥛 They can drink 20-30 litres of milk every day to fuel their incredible growth.
🌱 Rhino calves usually stay close to their mothers for 2-3 years, learning everything they need to survive in the wild before becoming independent.

Every healthy calf represents hope for the future, but only if they’re given the chance to grow up safely.

Through The Next 500 Campaign, we’re working to protect more rhinos using innovative science that helps keep them safe from poaching.

Jessica Babich is an environmental anthropologist with experience in conservation research and project delivery across local, national, and international settings. As CEO, she builds strategic partnerships that bring together science, conservation, and communities to help combat rhino poaching.

Jessica is leading our mission to protect The Next 500 rhinos, one treatment, one partnership, and one step closer to a safer future.
