Moving is an exciting time, but when it comes down to the nitty grittys the excitement dulls slightly. With all the planning, packing, working through everything used and dusty wishing it was all just done already!!! Well it can be, The Moving Assistant is not a big moving company I am one person that comes to your home while you are or are not there and do all the preperations for you. I dont do the moving, only the packing and sorting which is the biggest consumer of ones time Especially if you work all day and afterwards need to come home to cook and look after the family. this alleviates alot of stress involved in the moving process. What makes my service unique is that I make use of plastic containers which you would hire from me whilst we prepare to move. with a 50% rebate once the Containers are returned. Containers are sturdy, strong and re-usable which is perfect for moving or renovations and minimizes the chance of breakages. I charge a daily rate; not a per item, per hanging photo or per box rate, making me way more cost effective. Hope to be able to assist you soon.
