The role:
A 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫 needs strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams, optimize processes, and ensure quality and safety. Key abilities include planning and time management, technical understanding of production, quality control, safety compliance, and the capacity to motivate employees and adapt to fast-paced changes.

Requirements:
• Valid code 14 (EC) license
• Valid PDP (professional driving permit)
• Valid forklift license
• Own transport to and from work
• South African ID
• Willing to work overtime

Summary of tasks (daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly / annually) / adhoc):
• Opening and locking of manufacturing plant & office (every morning and afternoon),
• Supervising & managing of all manufacturing, including cleaning of campus,
• Supervising & managing of all truck staff (including daily inspection of truck),
• Stock control (count) – actual,
• Resolve all production-related queries, including product quality,
• Initiate improvements to production techniques,
• Responding to alarm activations (when necessary),
• Overseeing full production as per production planning (daily / weekly / monthly),
• Stand-in for Truck driver (when necessary) and assist with other customer deliveries (when necessary),
• Assist to load truck (forklift), both Cavcon and outsourced transport (when necessary)
• Overseeing general maintenance,
• Updating production employee task-capability file,
• Conducting Breathalyzer tests,
• Any other production-related requirement.

• Attention to detail,
• Team player,
• Work independently,
• People / management skills (manage a production team),
• Ability to micro-manage' production staff (when required).

Other:
• Assist with Production Planning Administrator role (if / when required)
