Calling Emerging Entrepreneurs who are tired of trying to figure everything out alone.
Starting or growing a small business can be exciting.
But let’s be honest.
Sometimes the hardest part is not having the idea.
It is dealing with everything that comes after it.
Finding customers.
Getting your pricing right.
Managing cash flow.
Finding funding.
Building networks.
Understanding compliance.
Making decisions when there is nobody to bounce the idea off.
And staying focused when urgent business problems keep taking over.
This is why we created Build and Become Accountability Group at Reaching Up Learning.
It is a supportive space for emerging entrepreneurs who want to stop thinking about their goals and start taking consistent action towards them.
Inside the group, we focus on:
🔹 Turning business goals into practical action steps
🔹 Creating accountability around the actions you commit to
🔹 Talking honestly about the barriers affecting your business
🔹 Learning from other entrepreneurs facing similar challenges
🔹 Getting perspective, feedback and practical support
🔹 Staying focused when business becomes overwhelming
🔹 Celebrating progress — not just the big wins
This is not another space where you collect information, attend a few sessions and then return to doing everything alone.
The intention is different.
We want to create a community where entrepreneurs can say:
“This is where I am. This is what I am trying to build. This is what is getting in my way. What can I do next?”
Because sometimes you do not need another motivational speech.
You need structure.
You need accountability.
You need people who understand the journey.
And sometimes, you need someone to help you see the next step clearly.
We believe in building entrepreneurs, but we also believe in building the relationships and support systems around them.
That is part of our Ubuntu approach: we do not build alone.
Ready to Build and Become?
If you are an emerging entrepreneur and you know you need more structure, accountability and support to move your business forward:
👉 Comment “BUILD” below or send Reaching Up Learning a DM with the word “BUILD”.
We’ll share the details and help you take the next step.
Don’t just have a business goal. Build towards it.
Build and Become.

We need to stop pretending that training alone is enterprise development.
I understand why we focus so heavily on training.
Skills matter.
Entrepreneurs need to understand their numbers, customers, pricing, marketing and the decisions that keep a business alive.
But there is a problem.
A capable entrepreneur can still struggle in an environment where access to markets, finance, networks, procurement opportunities and working capital remains limited.
Consider an entrepreneur who has completed a business-development programme, understands their pricing and has a viable product — but receives a large order that they cannot fulfil because the customer pays 60 days after delivery and they do not have enough working capital to carry the cost.
What exactly is the development gap?
We may be celebrating training completion while overlooking whether the entrepreneur has gained the conditions needed to use what they have learned.
I think the shift needs to be:
From developing entrepreneurs in isolation
To develop entrepreneurs within ecosystems of opportunity.
That does not mean training is unimportant.
It means we need to connect capability with access, relationships, resources and sustained support.
Ubuntu reminds us that people do not develop in isolation. The relationships and systems around us influence what becomes possible.
Perhaps the question enterprise development should be asking is:
Are we developing entrepreneurs, or are we developing the conditions in which entrepreneurs can actually succeed?
I would be interested in hearing where others disagree.
