WHEN YOU HAVE NO STRENGTH LEFT TO PUSH

A word for when the promise is there, the time is right, but you feel too weak to birth it.

1. It's okay to admit: "This is a day of distress."
Hezekiah didn't fake faith. He called the day what it was - distress, rebuke, disgrace. God can handle your honest confession. You don't have to pretend you're strong. The fact that you're still turning to God in your distress is faith.

2. Distress doesn't mean defeat.
This was Hezekiah's worst day, but it became the day God showed up the most. The next verses, God sends ONE angel and wipes out 185,000 enemy soldiers in one night. Your day of distress is often the doorway to your day of deliverance.

3. When you have no strength to deliver, God becomes the midwife.
Hezekiah said: "The children have come to birth and there is no strength."
You may feel like: My business, my marriage, my calling is at the point of breaking through but I'm exhausted.

Hear God: What you cannot birth in your strength, I will deliver in Mine. You don't need strength to push; you need trust to pray. Hezekiah couldn't fight, but he could pray. And his prayer moved heaven.

> Your weakness is not the end of the story. It's the place where God's strength takes over.

PRAYER
_"Lord, this day feels like distress. I have come to the point of birth but I have no strength left. Today, I give this battle to You. Birth what I cannot birth. Deliver what I cannot deliver. In Jesus' name."_

His name is given as the word if God....(John 1:1)
What picture do you see from here ??

The king who rules with justice and holiness. You get what you deserve, no favourites !! Your work speaks for you. Observe that members of the armies who follow him must also meet the standard. Theses qualities must be earned here on earth, as we saw in yesterday's reading ( check out yesterday's devotion for reference purpose on the book Daily Guide )

God will execute a massive slaughter of the ungodly at this battle of Armageddon ( Revelation 16:16). The man of war, our saviour, brings to finality the deception perpetrated by the beast ( the antichrist) and the false prophets, as they are captured and cast into eternal doom.

This is the victory of the church. How vain will be the plea of sinners that day. Today, while you hear his voice, repent and get dressed with the proper garment, awaiting Christ's return.

CLOSING PRAYER:
Thank you , Lord, for the victory you have granted me over all the devices and strategies of Satan.

MEDITATION:
Meditate on the implication and the power of the name, "The word of God", in your daily battles of life.

THEME: MAXIMIZING AND REDEEMING TIME

Key Scripture

Ephesians 5:15–16

5:15 — “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
5:16 — Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

1. TIME IS A GIFT FROM GOD

✓ Everyone receives 24 hours a day, but not everyone uses them wisely.

✓ Time cannot be stored, borrowed, or recovered once it is gone.

God has given each of us time as an opportunity to live, grow, serve, learn and fulfil our purpose. Therefore, we should not take our time for granted.

2. UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF TIME

✓ What you do repeatedly with your time shapes your future.

✓ Small wasted moments can eventually become years of missed opportunities.

The way we spend our time reveals what we value.

3. SET YOUR PRIORITIES

✓ Put God first, then focus on responsibilities, growth, family, work, and other important commitments.

✓ Not everything deserves equal attention.

We must learn to distinguish between what is important and what is merely distracting.

4. MAKE USE OF EVERY OPPORTUNITY

✓ “Redeeming the time” means making the best use of the opportunities God gives you.

✓ Learn, serve, work, build relationships, and develop your gifts.

Every day presents opportunities to become better, help someone, learn something, strengthen our relationship with God and move closer to our purpose. We should not wait for the “perfect time” before we start making a difference.

Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is not guaranteed. Therefore, the opportunity we have is today.

“Is this helping me become who God has called me to be?”

Before spending your time on something, ask.

THE FLOOD COVERS THE EARTH
GENESIS 7:1-24

God told Noah to enter the ark with his family because He found Noah righteous. God also commanded him to take clean and unclean animals, male and female, to keep them alive. After seven days, rain fell for forty days and forty nights, and the waters covered even the highest mountains. Everything that had the breath of life on land died, but Noah and all who were with him in the ark were safe. The water flooded the earth for 150 days.

This passage shows God’s judgment on sin and His mercy toward those who obey Him. While the world ignored God’s warnings, Noah trusted and obeyed. The ark became a symbol of salvation through faith. God always protects those who walk with Him, even when His judgment comes upon the world.

We must learn to obey God even when others do not. Our obedience brings safety and blessing. God’s Word is true, and those who trust Him will find refuge in Him, just as Noah did.
Prayer:
Lord, help me obey You completely and trust You in all things. Keep me safe in Your grace when challenges come. Amen.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”-Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

Revelation is powerful. But revelation alone does not change your life. What changes your life is walking in what God has shown you.

The Word of God is described as a lamp to the feet. Notice the language carefully. A lamp does not illuminate the whole road at once. It lights the next step. God often guides this way. Not with overwhelming detail, but with faithful direction for the step in front of you.

September is a month of divine encounter and instruction. But instruction must become movement. Some people hear clearly yet remain stationary because they are waiting for complete understanding. God rarely works that way. Obedience unlocks further clarity.

If God highlighted something in your prayer time, act on it. If He corrected an attitude, adjust it. If He gave direction concerning your habits, relationships, or focus, begin walking in that light today.

Small obedience builds great momentum. Every step taken in alignment strengthens your confidence and deepens your sensitivity to God’s voice. Delay weakens conviction. Obedience strengthens it.

You do not need to see the entire month today. You need to walk faithfully in what has already been revealed.

Light increases for those who walk in it.

Declare with me:
I walk in the light of God’s Word. Every step I take is guided, ordered, and strengthened by His instruction.

GOD OF PEACE
(Ephesians 2:14-17, 4:3, 6:15)

3 KEY POINTS

1. CHRIST IS OUR PEACE — _Eph 2:14_
Jesus tore down the wall of hostility. Our peace with God comes first, then peace with each other.
2. PEACE UNITES US — _Eph 4:3_
We are called to “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” Different tribes, one body.
3. PEACE EQUIPS US — _Eph 6:15_
The “gospel of peace” are shoes for our feet. Peace doesn’t make us passive. It sends us to be peacemakers.

WHAT SHALL WE DO ??

1. PRAY FIRST - Ask God for His peace to guard hearts and minds _Phil 4:7_ as we pray for leaders, communities, and elections.
2. BREAK WALLS - Choose forgiveness over offense. Reach across tribe, politics, and church lines. Be a bridge, not a wall.
3. WALK PEACE- Speak life on WhatsApp, in markets, in homes. Let our words carry the gospel of peace.

PRAYER
Lord, You are our peace. Preserve Zambia. Heal divisions. Let Your peace rule in our hearts and harvest unity in our land. Amen.
