Development Three Sixty

On 14th May 2026, Development Three Sixty had the honour of joining the Livingstone City Council, partners, and key stakeholders in witnessing the official installation ceremony of the newly elected Junior Mayor and Junior Deputy Mayor held at the Livingstone Civic Centre.

As an organisation passionate about youth participation, civic engagement, and inclusive leadership, we are proud to have contributed to this important process from the review of applications and interview stages to witnessing the official inauguration ceremony.

We extend our sincere congratulations to Junior Mayor Justin Kauya and Junior Deputy Mayor Miss Bunonshi Mwewa on their successful installation. Their appointment represents an important step towards strengthening youth representation and ensuring that young people have a voice in local governance and decision-making processes.

Development Three Sixty is encouraged to see the deliberate efforts being made by the local authority to create meaningful civic spaces that empower young people, nurture leadership, and promote democratic participation within the district. Such initiatives demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting young people’s welfare, leadership potential, and active citizenship.

We remain committed to working closely with the Livingstone City Council in supporting the newly elected Junior Council because we firmly believe that leadership begins now, not tomorrow.

Congratulations once again on a successful and historic inaugural ceremony. We are truly humbled and grateful to have been part of this remarkable journey from the very beginning, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this youth leadership structure will create in our communities.

Board and Stakeholders Engagement

Today, Development Three Sixty had a Board and stakeholders engagement to review the years'sproject activities and how they can offer their support under the "Strengthening Young People's Participation In Democratic Governance.

Development Three Sixty-hosted an Award ceremony to its participants under the Actionaid SIDA funded project, "Strengthening Young People's Participation In Democratic Governance Through Digital Technologies."

The ceremony was graced by Development Three Sixty's board members (Mr Donald Kakulubelwa and Madam Catherine Chilala) and Civic leader Mwalibonena ward councilor Juliet Hambizi.

The participants were awarded certificate of participation in Digital Literacy, Leadership and entrepreneurship training in relation to Democratic governance.
