Job Advert: Van Sales Representative

About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, proactive Van Sales Representative to manage
and grow our direct-store-delivery (DSD) route. In this role, you will operate a
company sales van as a moving warehouse. You will be fully responsible for the
entire sales cycle on your route: pitching our products, selling stock directly from
the van and collecting payments.

Key Responsibilities
 Direct Route Sales: Drive the assigned company van to retail shops,
wholesalers, supermarkets, and corporate clients to sell stock directly from
the vehicle
 New Customer Onboarding: Actively prospect, pitch, and open new retail
and wholesale accounts along your daily route to expand market coverage.
 Stock & Cash Reconciliation: Issue immediate invoices/receipts, collect
cash or mobile money payments, and ensure your physical van stock
matches daily sales reports perfectly.
 Vehicle & Inventory Management: Conduct daily inventory checks to
ensure the van is fully loaded with the right product mix, and perform basic
vehicle maintenance checks.
 Product Demonstration: Understand the use cases of our chemical to
confidently answer customer questions.

Qualifications and Experience
Education: Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in Sales
and Marketing is a distinct advantage
Industry Experience: At least 2 years of experience specifically in Van Sales or
Direct Store Delivery (DSD), preferably within the FMCG industry.
Skills: Strong arithmetic and cash-handling skills, excellent communication, and an
aggressive, persuasive sales approach
Physical Stamina: Capable of loading and offloading heavy boxes, and bulk
detergent containers daily.
Smartphone for reporting and photos is an advantage
