🎨 Why does paint peel?
Peeling paint isn’t always about the quality of the paint — sometimes, the problem starts before the first coat is applied.
Here are three common causes:
💧 Moisture beneath the surface – Damp walls can prevent paint from bonding properly.
🧹 Poor surface preparation – Painting over dirt, dust or loose existing paint can lead to peeling.
🖌️ Incorrect or missing primer – The right primer helps create a strong foundation for your topcoat.
A long-lasting finish starts with proper preparation and the right products for your surface.

🎨 Can you use interior paint outside? Not quite — and choosing the right paint matters.
Interior and exterior paints are designed to perform under very different conditions.
🏠 Interior paints are formulated to give your indoor spaces a beautiful, smooth finish while considering factors such as washability, everyday wear and easy maintenance.
☀️🌧️ Exterior paints need to withstand much tougher conditions — from Zambia’s strong sunshine and heat to rain and changing weather.
Using the wrong paint for the surface could affect the finish, durability and lifespan of your paintwork.
Not sure what your project needs? Show us the surface you’re painting and we’ll help you select the correct paint system — from preparation and primer to the final coat.
