STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT MEETING ON SUSTAINABLE FOOD CONSUMPTION
Yesterday, Green Nature participated in a stakeholder engagement meeting under the project "Empowering Youth for Sustainable Food Consumption in Zambia" held at Eastern Comfort Lodge in Chipata.
The meeting brought together government institutions, civil society organizations, development partners, and youth groups to discuss sustainable food systems, nutrition, and the meaningful inclusion of young people in food system governance.
A key highlight was the recognition of youth-led innovations and enterprises that are contributing to healthier, more resilient, and sustainable food systems. Discussions also emphasized the important role of the District Nutrition Coordinating Committee (DNCC) in strengthening partnerships and creating opportunities for youth participation in decision-making processes.
As Green Nature, we were proud to share experiences and contribute to discussions aimed at empowering young people to become active drivers of sustainable development, food security, and improved nutrition outcomes.
Together, we can build a future where youth are at the center of sustainable food systems transformation.
