As we commemorate International Week of the Deaf, NUST Library celebrates the Deaf community, Deaf professionals, inclusion and accessibility by spotlighting Ms Nonhlanhla Moyo, Acting Assistant Librarian for the Disability Resource Centre. Her story reflects the importance of creating spaces where everyone can access information, participate and thrive.

This week on , the NUST Library connected with over 90 first-year Information Management and Technology students through an engaging Information Literacy Skills training facilitated by Ms M. Muswipa.

The session provided valuable skills to help students make a smooth transition from high school to university life and academic research. Students explored how to find, evaluate and use information effectively, navigate library resources, and critically assess information throughout their academic journey.

Building confident, responsible and research-ready students from the very start! 🎓
