At For Our Children (FOC), we are appealing for assistance for a 8 year old vulnerable child with special needs who is currently being cared for by her maternal uncle. The case was assigned to FOC by the Department of Social Services for follow-up and support.

The child requires ongoing care, protection, and support, and the family is facing challenges in meeting her basic needs. We are therefore seeking assistance in the form of groceries, clothes and blankets to help improve her wellbeing and provide a more comfortable living environment.

The child is currently residing with her maternal uncle, who has assumed responsibility for her care following challenges within the immediate family. Both biological parents are presently unable to provide adequate care and support. The father has not been actively involved in the child's care, while the mother faces challenges that limit her caregiving capacity.

Efforts to identify additional family support have yielded limited options.
Prior to her placement with her uncle, the child was residing with her mother in Chivhu, where she experienced a child protection incident involving another minor.

Following assessment and intervention, alternative care arrangements were made to safeguard her wellbeing.
Any support rendered towards groceries and blankets will go a long way in meeting the child's immediate needs and strengthening the family-based care arrangement currently in place. Your assistance will contribute significantly to the child's welfare, stability, and continued development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Project Aqua Update – 24/02 💧
We are excited to share that the borehole installation at Domborembava High School was successfully completed in January 2026!

Clean water is now flowing to the teachers’ cottages, the learning areas, and Magadzire Primary School. This is a huge milestone for Project Aqua and for the entire community we serve.
What remains are just a few final touch-ups — mainly finishing off the sinks and small fittings — but the major work is done, and the impact is already being felt.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all our partners, supporters, and well-wishers who stood with us throughout this journey. Your generosity, commitment, and belief in the vision made this possible. May you be abundantly blessed for every contribution, prayer, and effort poured into this project. 🙏🏾✨
Together, we are transforming lives — one drop at a time. 💧🌍

Community Support Needed

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help supporting a small family going through an incredibly difficult season.

It is a mother, her teenage daughter, and her young child. The daughter(15 years) is a survivor of sexual assault and recently gave birth. They are doing their best to rebuild their lives, but they need support to get back on their feet.
Right now, we are seeking:
🛒 Groceries and basic household essentials
🐔 Start-up funds for a small broiler project to help them create sustainable income
📚 Support to help the young mother return to school next year and continue her education

Our goal is not just short-term relief, but long-term empowerment — helping them regain stability, dignity, and independence.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference. If you would like to donate groceries, funds, or learn more about how you can help, please send a direct message.
Let’s come together to show love, compassion, and practical support during this time.
