An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced IT Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IT audits, assessing technology risks and controls, and providing practical recommendations to strengthen IT governance, security, and operational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities
• Conduct IT audits and evaluate the effectiveness of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and information security controls.
• Assess IT systems, applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery controls.
• Identify IT risks, control weaknesses, and security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Perform audit testing, document findings, and prepare clear and concise reports for management.
• Assess compliance with applicable regulations, policies, standards, and recognised IT frameworks.
• Keep abreast of emerging technology, cybersecurity, and IT audit developments.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in IT Audit, Information Security, Technology Risk, IT Operations, or a related field.
• Good understanding of IT audit processes, IT controls, cybersecurity, and technology risk.
• Familiarity with recognised standards and frameworks such as COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and ITIL would be an added advantage.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification or active progress towards CISA is highly desirable and will be a distinct advantage.
• Exposure to data analytics, cybersecurity assessments, ERP systems, cloud environments, or other emerging technologies would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver assignments within agreed timelines.
• Strong professional judgement, integrity, and commitment to confidentiality.

Integrity Legacy NationBuilding

Last Friday, more than 40 members of our team came together to live out our purpose and values during Crowe Cares Day, joining fellow member firms across the Crowe Global network in the hashtag initiative.

As part of this year's initiative, we volunteered at Mavambo Orphan Care in Mabvuku, contributing to efforts aimed at combating hunger and supporting vulnerable children. Beyond our donations and support, we spent the day engaging with the children through games, conversations, and shared activities, creating meaningful moments of connection, joy, and laughter. It was a truly rewarding experience and a powerful reminder of the difference we can make when we come together with a shared commitment to creating positive change.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone across Crowe Zimbabwe who generously gave their time, energy, and compassion to this worthy cause.
