Being married is great, but mind-reading still isn't a superpower! Check-ins, enthusiasm, and voluntary "yeses" are just as important after the wedding as they were on day one.

Spoken words are only part of communication. Somatic empathy is about paying attention to body language, hesitations, posture, and nervous system cues. Itโs learning to read the room and respecting someoneโs physical comfort level before they even have to ask. When we practice somatic empathy, we create safer, more comfortable spaces for everyone. ๐

Communicating what brings you joy, comfort, or safety isnโt something youโre expected to master overnight, itโs a muscle you build over time, step by step. Unlearning silence takes practice, and your voice matters every step of the way. ๐
Save this for whenever you need the reminder!

Throwing it back to the pure joy and unmatched energy in Bulawayo! ๐๐ฝ๐บ๐ฝโจ
If thereโs one thing about our Disrupt Pleasure workshops, itโs that we know how to create spaces filled with real talk, learning, AND serious vibes!
Grounding our work in dignity, consent, and bodily autonomy doesn't mean we can't celebrate the joy along the way. Bulawayo participants definitely understood the assignment and brought 100% of their heart and enthusiasm to the room! ๐ฅ
Bringing the Harare energy to your feed!
A little recap of the incredible moments, real conversations, and vibrant community from our Harare workshop.
And the momentum isn't stopping there, last week we officially kicked off our very first mentorship session and our Pleasure Ambassadors brought that exact same passion, energy and enthusiasm to the space! ๐๐ฅ

We spend so much time talking about red flags, but when was the last time we celebrated the GREEN ones? In our spaces, pleasure isn't just about avoiding the bad stuff, itโs about actively choosing the good stuff. A real green flag isn't just "nice to have"; itโs the foundation for any healthy, joyful, and empowering connection. If a space, a relationship, or a decision doesn't give you safety, respect, and peace of mind, itโs time to check the flags. ๐ฉโก๏ธ๐ข
