What does access to emergency medical care look like for Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector?

At the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, MARS is showcasing how our healthcare and emergency response solutions can support farming communities, particularly those operating in remote and underserved areas.

From on-site clinics and first aid training for farm workers to emergency medical response, laboratory services and portable point-of-care solutions, our focus is on bringing critical healthcare closer to the communities that need it.

In this walkthrough, Ivy Chanakira from MARS shares more about the solutions available to the agricultural sector and how MARS is helping farmers and their teams stay prepared, protected and productive.

Whether it’s training, treatment or emergency response, there’s one number to remember: 182.

Because every life counts.

The past four days at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show have been filled with meaningful conversations, new faces and plenty of moments that reminded us why connecting with our community matters.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting some of the doctors who visited the MARS stand and today, we met so many more of you who stopped by to learn about MARS, ask questions and show interest in the work we do.

We’ve also been offering complimentary blood pressure checks at our stand and we’ll continue doing so right through to the final day of the show. So, if you’re coming through tomorrow, make sure you visit the MARS stand, meet the team and take a moment to check in on your blood pressure.

We’ve loved having you stop by, and we look forward to seeing more of you at ZAS.

Meet two aspiring doctors, Dr Muthembu and Dr Mukamba, who made their way to the MARS stand at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show with plenty of questions and even more knowledge.

After spotting our demo patient, they called their mothers over to take a closer look. They confidently shared what they knew about the IV drip, how medication can be administered and even recognised our First Aid Kits when we brought them out.

They also told us how an ultrasound can be used to check on pregnant mothers, among many other fascinating insights they shared with our team.

It was a wonderful reminder that curiosity about healthcare can start early. We loved meeting these two young aspiring doctors and hearing them share their knowledge with us.

Who knows? We may have met two future healthcare professionals at the MARS stand.

Because every life counts.
